Hat Day... (March Birthstone)

I'm the newest member on the CT team for Aimee Harrison and she was kind enough to let me have this lovely new kit March Birthstone, I so couldn't wait to play with this kit the colours are just lovely, and blue is one of my favourite colours plus March is my birth month too. The kit just so inspired me as we'd just had a lovely sunny weekend and this kit just called out to be used...

I have a guess CT spot on Keep in Touch Designs and was asked to scrap a page using this lovely new kit Document March, the stitching has to be one of my favourite bits.  The colours just say the start of spring to me I used this kit to scrap my photo from the weekend and after having a lovely sunny Sunday…

Friends Forever...

Here's my speed scrap page done last night...

I used mostly the KLDD kits a little bit from a few, these are old family photo's I finally got around to scanning in the other day.  The only sad thing is that Mum and I don't know who these ladies are or from which side of the family they are from.  All we know is that they are family I don't even know if the little girls are the ladies all grown up but its a nice thought that they might be.  And I love that one little girl is picking her nose, I bet she was in trouble when her parents got the photo back...

If you have never followed along a speed scrap, it's pretty simple. You are given a series of instructions- one every 5 minutes. A typical step might be "add two types of ribbon to your layout." The steps are given every 5 minutes, but that doesn't mean you have to keep up at that pace. You get an extra 2 hours to complete your layout and post it in this group to qualify for the $$ prizes.Prizes are $10, $5 and $3- qualified winners randomly chosen. If you are not a speedy scrapper and arrive at the party late, you can still follow along the steps and win a 20% Off coupon for participating.

I've been having a play here's another layout using the Steampunk World kit. I had great fun yesterday as I discovered the sketch setting in CAP 2 and converted the photo in the background to a pencil drawing, I can see me playing with this mode more and more now xxx
