RIP Great Aunty Cathy...

It's a sad time for us today our dear Great Aunty Cathy is no longer with us she passed away on the 14th Jan after being very ill in hospital for a couple of weeks. 

The funeral is being held today in Blackburn, although Mum and I can't be there are thoughts are with Cathy's immediate family hugs and love to you all xxx

KLDD Challenge...

Sandy posted a challenge to use one or more of her kits to come up with a layout using a template. I'm one of those scrapbookers who, has a love hate for templates I know they have there place but sometimes I just want to do things my way...

From North to South...

Well this weekend marks us being in our new home for 4 weeks it's been a manic time what with moving 10 days before Christmas and Steve having his Birthday on the 7th Jan (21 again he says lol).

Anyone who's moved know what it like and I can tell you its hell I still can't find things and it getting to the point where I'm thinking just buy a new one, but already we've done this, and a few days later found the original.

All my crafty stash is boxed up, and I never realised just how much I miss being able to just go and make a card.  Yes for the first time in decades I had to go out and buy a Birthday Card and although it was a lovely card I felt it wasn't as personal as I normally do. At least for Christmas I did already have a few pre-made Christmas cards.

Well I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and I want to wish you and your family health and happiness for 2014 xxx

Oh Dear Christmas is coming....

I am sitting here writing this with packing boxes all over the place I hate moving we last moved 9yrs ago and all I can remember is the mess and being bone tired all the time.  This time is a little different as we are down sizing as well as Mum had a stroke last January, and we've been offered a bungalow which has happen within the last 2 weeks.

I have never had everything just full into place like this even Social Service are on the ball and are helping all they can.  We move in on the 15th December 10 days before Christmas I am trying to be organized I have most of the gifts brought already, and I found some Christmas Cards I made last year that didn't sell so at least the people who mean the most to me will still get a handmade card I thought I was going to have to give in and buy them all this year something I haven't done for years.

Oh dear I put the gifts I brought into a box to keep them safe and now I can't find them I will just have to keep looking and hope they appear soon lol...

Just two left for now to be moved to the downstairs...
